Jenna is AWESOME!!!

Jenna is doing an incredible job with Ivy. We got so lucky with her. She plays, sings, does crafts, and takes pictures. We have dozens of pictures this week, so I'm going to post and caption. There really isn't much news. We have the most awesome baby in the world, and she can't take a bad picture. She loved being with her grandma and grandpa and grammy and grampy so much that we forgot to take pictures of them. Sorry!

Next week is Halloween, and we'll have good pictures of that. And then we go to Canada! If Obama doesn't win, we're not coming back.

We are trying to get Ivy to wear a hat.
She needs to be warm in Canada next month and in Iowa at Christmas.
If it doesn't have a tie, I have to use a stapler.

When we got home from Austin, Ivy was so sleepy. She had skipped her nap (she was waiting for Mommy!). I got to sleep with my baby even though I was gone for over 48 hours.

Ivy had fun at the park with Grandma Rachel and Grandpa John.

And you thought Ivy only climbed boxes!

Jenna took this picture of Ivy making a bed for all her stuffed animals.

Jenna took this picture of Ivy. She made the monkey puppet with her. They have so much fun together doing crafts. And they also cuddle.

Bubbles!

Feed me!

Jenna and Ivy went to the mall and played in the playground. Later they went to see puppies.

Ivy continues to help her daddy and me with our homework.

Go Aggies! Or at least, go Aggie Flag!
This belongs to a neighbor, but Ivy likes it so well we might have get one of our own.

Ivy would pretty much rather be outside than anywhere else. In the morning when Jenna gets here she often brings her shoes out and sits down in Jenna's lap to have them put on so that they can go. When we get home in the afternoon, she runs to give us a hug and then runs to the back door to swing or the front door to walk steps.

This is not a banana! Grammy gave ivy gourds for a fall present.
She didn't like them as much as Grammy thought she would.
She didn't understand why she couldn't just bite into them.

Ivy and Jenna went to the pumpkin patch.
Ivy picked out a tiny, dear pumpkin that was nearly as tiny and dear as she.

Ivy may have a future as an artist.
Or not.

NUM!
